Nano-Tech-discount-electronics.com finds that ebay
Hong Kong sellers have flooded ebay and other online sales venues with 8GB
faked memory iPod nano 2nd gen copy MP3 players.
In a recent search on ebay for 8GB MP3 player
Nano-Tech-discount-electronics.com found thousands of 8GB compressed drive iPod
nano 2nd gen copy mp3 players listed. Further investigation revealed that the
entire market was dominated by as few as six Hong Kong sellers. Some had listing
upwards of six hundred identical items listed at the same time. All items were
iPod nano 2nd gen copy mp3 players with compressed flash memory. With five
colors available that made as many as three thousand listings running on ebay at
the same time, all listed by a single seller.
Nano-Tech-discount-electronics.com has dissected these
iPod nano 2nd gen copy mp3 players, and confirmed that they are indeed smaller
flash memory chips, compressed to make them 8GB with only between 500MB and 1GB
of the memory useable in the unit's menu. Nano-Tech-discount-electronics.com
also confirmed that these ebay sellers were in direct violation of ebay's
listing policies, and in most cases did not even mention in their advertising
the fact that they are compressed drives. In further searches on other online
sales venues, that have more lax policies, Nano-Tech-discount-electronics.com
found that the same iPod nano 2nd gen copy mp3 players were even being
advertised as Apple iPod. Beware
of 8GB nano fakes, if you see an 8GB MP3 player for less than $100.00 and
the price seems too good to be true, it probably is. There
are true to size 8GB iPod nano 2nd gen copy MP3 players on the market, but
the market is so saturated with the compressed drive units that the real ones
are almost invisible.
